In my practice, sound is not primarily a musical or aesthetic medium. I use it as a way of thinking. Listening allows me to approach questions about perception, memory, and shared identity, including how culture and community are shaped by sonic environments that often remain unnoticed. I am interested in how sound operates beneath representation, influencing how we relate to place and to each other.
