Malamemoria V

This project began as a question about how small communities remember themselves — not through official records, but through receipts, margins, and half-finished lists. It pairs a printed journal with a lightweight digital archive, each issue built around a single ritual observed up close.

Approach

The system had to stay quiet enough to disappear behind the material. A single serif, a fixed grid, and generous rag let the documents speak first. Editing was the real design work: choosing what to leave in, and trusting the reader to find the rest.
